![]() TLDR : I've been using Instagram for a long time and post alot, and get 15-30 likes a post, and tried many strategies and still not succeed, it also makes me feel negatively. Maybe a break from social media is needed, but i am also very stubborn person and dont like to give up. I naturally dont like my art very much since i compare myself but when i see art that is 4 years old have more likes than a recent drawing, i feel like i didnt improve, i feel like im on the wrong path. I have about 940 stories of just gartic phone alone, maybe spamming my stories is not a good strategy idk. I also post to my stories very consistently, I play gartic phone and post them to my stories, a drawing telephone game, started playing it a lot because I liked the feedback I was getting for once and it did make me feel better about myself. I draw heads, full bodies, guys, girls, older looking guys, younger looking guys, monster looking things, pretty looking things, rarely some backgrounds. I know many do anime and it is flooded but I think I do many different kinds of anime and also mainly draw from memory/imagination. I draw mainly anime and do mainly sketches/doodles. I also have asked once or twice before for people to reshare my artwork and nobody did, I felt real bad asking it in the first place. I use hashtags, without them I would get 10-15 likes, Im not even sure if those are real people who use the hashtags to find my stuff. I have had maybe 150-200 posts, deleted 2 waves of 50+ artworks when I felt it was not good enough as a way to start over without making a new account. With 500 followers, which is a good number but with only 20-30 people liking it. I also have been getting less likes as time as gone by. Hi, I've been using instagram for about 8 years on and off but probably 4-5 years consistently and average 20-30 likes per post.
